Retail-Lab is a research laboratory of the University of Parma, focussing on aspects of retail from research to innovative services for companies, from retail distribution studies to the realisation of applicable models and value creating policies.
Lab research focusses on innovations which impact retail distribution in order to provide indications and applicable models for companies in the supply chain on how to create value through innovative and efficient trading policies.

LEIGIA is a research laboratory of the University of Parma focussing on a comparative analysis of Italian, German and Austrian companies
Aims:
• To compare company behaviour in the three countries, focusing on their different institutional contexts;
• To compare the roles and features of the different industrial policies (nationally and subnationally);
• To analyse and foster the process of non equity cooperation between companies in the three countries, including in global value chains;
• To analyse and foster the process of integration of shares between companies in the three countries;
• LEIGIA grew out of Emilialab, a joint initiative of the Departments of Economics of Ferrara, Modena, Parma, and Reggio Emilia
