In addition to the programs offered by the University, Department of Economics and Management students can choose from several international exchange opportunities based on specific agreements with foreign universities.

Student and professor exchange

Agreement with Saint Francis University, Pennsylvania, USA
The agreement provides for the exchange of students between the Department of Economics and Saint Francis University. The initiative is aimed at those enrolled in the bachelor's degree.

Agreement between the Department of Economics and the University of Dundee
An agreement with the University of Dundee has been in force for several years for the participation of master's students from our Department in one of Dundee's University Master's programs in economics, business or Finance. A preferential channel is provided for our students in the selection and the opportunity to compete for scholarships offered by the University of Dundee. Participation in the Master's program entitles Department students, upon their return to Parma, to the recognition of 40 ECTS credits and inscription into the second year of the Master's degree.

a) The agreement between the Department of Economics and FEA - USP, São Paulo, Brazil, provides for the exchange of students and professors and collaborations in the field of research.

b) The agreement between the Department of Economics and FECAP, São Paulo, Brazil, provides for the exchange of students and professors and collaborations in the field of research.

University of Kobe, Japan
The agreement between the Department of Economics and the Faculty of Economics, Kobe University, Japan, provides for student and professor exchange and collaborations in the field of research. Parma students are scheduled to depart during the second KOBE semester (April-August). The call goes out well in advance of departure (tends to be a year in advance). Deadlines and the call for applications, when available, are posted on the University website.

University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina
The collaboration between the Department of Economics and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Buenos Aires involves student and professor exchanges and research collaborations. Parma students are scheduled to leave within the first UBA semester (January-February). The call goes out well in advance of departure, tending to be 6 to 12 months in advance. Deadlines and the call for applications, when available, are posted on the University website.

University of Hanoi, Vietnam
The agreement between the Department of Economics and the University of Hanoi in Vietnam provides for the possibility of both student and professor exchange.

Relationships with Universities of Romania
a) Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Department of Economics.
The contacts concern the Erasmus and Socrates projects, particularly for the Finance-banking area. Regarding Economics, this is the oldest Romanian university and still one of the largest and most prestigious.
b) Ştefan cel Mare University of Suceava,Department of Economics. The first collaboration involved a Jean Monet chair and a Tempus project is planned to start soon. Student exchanges are possible.
c) University "Vasile Alecsandri" of Bacău, Department of Economics. On the Erasmus and Socrates projects, exchanges concern the areas of Business Economics and Finance.
