Mode of conducting graduate examinations
The Academic Senate, at its meeting of May 23, 2023, established the following:
The graduation exams are held in attendance.
Students who are in situations of particular, extreme and prolonged difficulty/fragility may apply to the University Welcome and Inclusion Centre to take the exam remotely. Once the conditions of extreme and prolonged difficulty/fragility have been verified, the University Welcome and Inclusion Centre Director/Director will notify the Commission Chairperson of the names of those who will be able to take the exam at a distance in the specific graduate appeal that is the subject of the request.
For all exams conducted by distance mode, the Commission Chairperson may decide whether to provide for oral or written form.
Graduation mode
Three-year degrees:written test.
Masterial/Specialist/Four-year degrees: thesis. Discussion (preliminary) and proclamation, on the same day.

General information and procedures (bachelor's, master's, specialist, four-year degrees)
The completion of the application for graduation is done exclusively onlinethrough the ESSE3 system.
Students who are to pursue a bachelor's degree must first register with an Instructional Committee and, ONLY THEN, complete the online application for graduation. Those who fill out the application for graduation, but who are not found to be registered with an Instructional Committee, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GRADUATE in the chosen session.
For the procedures to be followed, please read carefully the directions given within the different types of graduation (three-year, master's/specialist, four-year).

Commissions and outcomes
In the vicinity of the graduation sessions indicated in the teaching calendar, the graduating student will be able to view the composition of the Instructional Committee and the Graduation (Proclamation) Committee assigned to him/her, including dates, times and classrooms. In addition, graduating three-year undergraduates will be able to view the passing/failing of the final exam and at the conclusion of the work of the Three-year Graduation Committees also the graduation grades as well as the dates, times and classrooms of the final ceremony.
