Brief description
The green and digital transition is a crucial issue in the European policy debate. However, its implications for businesses and workers are still little explored. According to many observers, this transformation will affect the configuration of skills required in specific occupations, which will dent to evolve in tandem with the development of technologies needed to combat climate change.
The TRACT project aims to explore the characteristics of "green" and digital occupations, analyzing how these occupations affect the economic and environmental performance of businesses. The project aims to improve the identification of these occupations for European countries, while investigating their quality and impact on industrial and innovation dynamics. To achieve these goals, TRATTO combines innovative data analysis methodologies, integrating textual analysis and data science algorithms. Overall, the project will contribute to a better understanding of economic and social processes related to the green and digital transition, improving the design of related policies.
