This international programme brings together students from several European universities to reflect on:
- The Mediterranean Diet as a living cultural heritage and sustainable food system
- The relationship between History, authenticity, and narrative-building in food tourism
- The role of gastronomy and local agri-food systems in sustainable regional development
- Food heritage, local governance, and public policies for tourism valorisation
- On-site component: July 6–10, 2026
- Location: University of Évora, Portugal
- Virtual component: June 2026
- Up to 6 ECTS
During the on-site week in Évora, students will participate in lectures, field visits, laboratory sessions, and hands-on activities, engaging directly with international scholars and regional stakeholders.
